About

I am a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne Switzerland. I studied mathematical physics at the Université de Louvain, where I received a PhD in 1998.

I am interested in signal/image processing as well as data processing over graphs and you can find my publications on my lab’s home page.

Speaking of publications, I am a strong advocate of Open Science. Open as in free for all. Free to read, free to comment, free to participate. Most of my recent papers are on ArXiv, yours should be as well. And while we are at it, why don’t we solve the problems with our broken peer review system by inventing and deploying Post Publication Peer Review.

By the way, talking about papers: code and data are essential parts of a paper. Your code should be available (use GitHub for instance) and your data as well (try figshare).
